An effective way to control rats on your property is through the use of bait, also known as rodenticides.
At Rentokil, we have access to a large selection of baits suitable for use indoors and out.
We combine the use of rat bait with our range of bait stations as part of a customised rat control programme for homes and businesses.
Rat bait is essentially a chemical poison formulated to be highly toxic to rats and mice. It is available in a wide variety of formulations.
All of our chemically toxic bait contain Bitrex. Bitrex is the harshest taste known to the human tongue. If it is accidentally consumed by humans, the taste will cause you to spit it out immediately.
Our rat baits are installed and distributed in a wide variety of tamper–resistant bait stations.
These bait stations have been developed and successfully tested in-house to ensure they can offer effective treatment against rodents.
Our bait stations have been specifically designed to be tamper resistant, enabling their use in areas where there might be children or pets present.
The bait contained inside is only accessible to rats and will cause no harm to others.
Manufactured in tough polypropylene with a secure single lock, the plastic bait station can be secured to a wall or the ground. It has been tested to withstand a 'pull weight' in excess of 30kg at it's centre, resisting most attempts at unauthorised entry.
Manufactured in zinc coated steel with polyester powder to resist corrosion, the tamper resistant metal bait station has a secure lock with a unique key. It remains tamper resistant to kicking and heavy loads, staying locked up to a vertical load of 350kg.
