Team Rentokil Ireland is celebrating it’s 80th birthday on Sunday and the company is surely redefining old age by growing from strength to strength.
Though 80 years seems like a long time, we are far from a creaky geriatric organisation, we are without exception still working harder than ever!
We are still very much in demand, because we deliver a service that is second to none, leading the way with mind-blowing innovations, excellent customer service and professionalism at every turn.
Age has certainly not withered us, as our company grows with age, like a good wine we’re getting better with time.
Unlike in our personal lives, where many of us can admit to pretending to be younger than our years, in Rentokil we’re now boasting about our age and certainly not in denial – we wear our wrinkles with pride.
We have aged enthusiastically, we have aged gracefully, and we have aged diligently.
There’s no getting away from it, 80 is a good age. Getting old can be tough, daunting and infuriating, as formerly simple tasks become difficult and exhausting, but fortunately not so us. We have embraced the digital age with open arms, rolling out a new and improved website, social media channels, technological innovations, which have kept us to the forefront of the pest control industry in Ireland.
We’ve weathered the storm, the financial crisis in Ireland from 2008 hit the country hard, it resulted in a dramatic turn in the Irish economy: from a profitable boom to a nationwide recession but we’ve come out the other side and in the face of adversity proved that Rentokil Pest Control Ireland is surely a force to be reckoned with.
Every beginning is weak, we started in 1935 with only two employees, the company was actually run from the UK at the time and now we’ve grown to a fantastic organisation spanning the whole country, with four branches nationwide and over 200 employees.
I’d like to say a sincere thank you to all of our loyal employees and customers who have helped to make this journey a pleasure, from our humble beginnings in 1935 to this momentous day.
